I purchased a navigator new in September 03 and recently the engine has =
been making an odd sound with a noticeable lack of power so I took it =
back to the dealership who diagnosed a compression drop on no. 8 =
cylinder and have informed me that it is to get a reconditioned engine =
replacement from ford. the vehicle has only done 30000 miles and IS =
STILL UNDER WARRANTY I feel a new engine should be the order of the day. =
am I wrong? ANY ADVISE YOU CAN GIVE ME WOULD BE APPRECIATED
