Subject: Ford Expedition (Nightmare)!! Family car w/4 small children year model 2000
My 2000 Ford Expedition Eddie Baurer was purchased for
$32,000/ 13,000 mi.
At 36,100 miles it started to stall for no reason. This
has happened repeatedly at least (stalls) and will not
move forward or backward for at least 20-25 min. of trying.
After setting for some reason, it will drive for me until
the end of a tank full of gas, then at the next fuel fill
up it will stall on me again after it has used 1/4 tank of
gas. We have sent it to 2 Ford service centers. They can't
fix the problem unless they can DUPLICATE IT. Anotherwords,
it has to do the same for them. We have left this
Expedition for 4 - 5 days at a time to get it fixed to no
avail. The Expedition Computer is not showing any CODES so
the COMPUTER on our Expedition 2000 says it is fine. It
stalled on us one day right after a Semi-Truck Passed in
front of me at a major intersection. Luckily I was not in
a hurry that day. After the Semi, had passed I pushed the
peddle to go and it stalled-and slowly glided (because of
no engine response-It just shut down on me) into the
intersection. That day the lord was with my family and I.
The 5 of us would have lost our lives that day. No one has
any answers for me.
