There has been nothing but problems, heart ache and mostly financial
difficulty because of this car since the
day I purchased it.
Listed below are just some of the problems I can list of which
hardly any of them were covered with that warranty
I was given plus purchased the extra care plan.
Numerous complaints to chapman and southshore on electrical
issues such as radio blinks on and off at times, they claimed I needed new
fuses. Still does it to date! Hesitation complaints consistantly.
1. window nick fixed brought back day after purchased
2. new battery ( car died out on highway) (wasnt covered) April 2003
3. new tires in April of 03 (wasnt covered)
4. new parking Break (part covered not labor)
5. numerous complaints on car hesitation as of Feb 2004.
6. new brakes - pads and rotors (wasnt covered) 6/11/04
7. Heat and air only working on highest speed (wasnt covered) 6/11/04
8. again complained still hesitates and shuts down 6/11/04
9. 6/20/04 car breaks down again - (not covered for towing or repairs
charged for new spark plugs, wires and kit coiles.
10. complained of back door handle gets stuck (finally something covered)
actually just received recall on this today.
11. 3/28/05 car hesitation getting worse once again, engine light - replaces
wires, plugs, fuel and air filters and heater hoses.
12. 3/30/05 back to shop - car hesitates again now worse with engine
light back on. 4/5 received new Sensor (not covered) - local mechanic
referred to chapman on consistant hesitation and engine light ( reports that is
must be the sensor as they have to change them so often)
13. As of today 4/6/05 vehicle is now parked at home, hesitation is
worse, stalls and engine light comes back on.
Not to mention the many recalls I received in the past 3 yrs,
some of which they mention the hesitations, engine lights, electrical
performances ( how about the numerous recalls that mention this before It was in my
hands- were they really fixed)?
