Subject:  Brooke's 2000 Ford Ranger's bad transmission and electrical problems

I bought a 2000 ford ranger 3.0 V6 automatic w/aod at 50,000
miles I had to replace the transmission this was an expensive
fix at $1,800.00. One month previous  to the new tranny I had
another problem, when the turn signals were actuated the
steering column would smoke and the "door ajar" light would
not turn off my truck sucks and I hate driving it.
 
p.s. my transmission still shifts really hard but at least it
works, before it would not shift into or out of first gear it
would rev out in neutral. diagnostic check showed nothing wrong
with tranny so ford said they couldnt do anything but rebuild
it. Anyone with similar problems?
