Well... How do I start... It's an 88, so it's not considered all
that old now, at least I don't consider it old... OK I recieved this
as a first car and I payed around 5,000.00 for it (man that is a
whole story right there.) Anyway the car had 33,000 miles on it and
the engine blew, it was something about the exhaust system being
backed up by the catiliyic convertier. I called Ford and they said
we are in the middle of making a recall for that reason, so they
said I should have just payed more attention to what goes on at FORD.
When I heard them say that I lost it I went off on them, this was
hard core I would like to know, who actually calles ford on a weekely
basis and ask them "How is my car doing this week BOB?" Well one
of my friends owned a 1995 Chevy CK pickup, so at about 1:00 am in
the morning we took the peice of crap Escort over there. And we parked
it right behind a brand new Escort "ZX2" sport I knew it was due
to be sold the next day because it was in the front of the lot. The
ZX2 was wedged in there so it was not going anywhere. The next day
fod traced the plated and called me up and the guys there cussed
me out and said to get the car the **ck out of here, because the
people were going to buy the ZX2 were there, and I told them, well
you should have called me to check up on my Escort.

Well thats my story...

Editor's note: I advised this gentleman to park his car in front of the dealership with a sign on it that said "LEMON" and see what kind of reaction he got. This was his reply:

Thanks for the encourgement, I almost got in trouble for doing that
to ford, but the cop himself laughed and said that the cop cars (Ford)
are peices of crap and I would love to just park them in front of
Ford.

Well currently I'm driving a 1997 Geo Metro LSI sedan, It looks nothing
like a GEO, and i'm sad to say it but that Geo runs rounds compared
to my Escort. I'm looking into getting a 97 Chevy Malibu, there nothing
like the orginal but oh well. I'm never going to go back to ford
again and ME driving a GEO is good proof of that!

Thanks for the comment!
