My name is Chuck and I'm ashamed to admit I own another pile of junk
Ford product. Here's my story.

I purchased a 2003 Lincoln Navigator along with the premium package ext.
warranty ($3000.00)

Good thing I did because this POS has turned into a nightmare.

Passenger door wouldn't stay closed and my wife held it closed to get
home last February.(Faulty door actuator)
Air ride compressor had to be replaced.
Front end sway bar wore out.
CD player had to be replaced.
All the rims leak air.
Air ride suspension squeaks something awful.
Coil on number 7 cylinder failed.
I could go on about the real lack of quality (squeaks and rattles) but
the last straw for me was a trip home from a fishing trip with an
important client (This guy drives a Mercedes incidently) we heard a loud
pop or bang from the engine. So we limp home in my fancy Ford POS and
the following day I had a Ford dealer look at it. Turns out the spark
plug on number 6 cylinder blew out of the head stripping the threads. Go
figure....no warranty.....spark plug's fault and Ford doesn't cover
spark plugs!!!!!!

After the dealer gave me the details I called the Ford warranty hotline
(which is some call centre with morons pretending to know something about
vehicles) and they in turn called the dealer. Same story. No warranty.
Cost me $1,500.00 to get this POS back which is now in the paper for the
next sucker.

My relationship and all my family's relationship with Ford Motor Company
(I forbid any Ford's on the property) has permantly expired. Saddly for
our whole North American automotive industry, we really have no choice
but to buy the imports. You did it to us for to long. Now we're giving
it back.
