Hi,
I've got a problem with My 2004 Ford F-150 Regular cab pick up truck.
I purchased it new from Thompson Ford In Tullahoma, Tn in May of last
Year.
Since I purchased It I have had a constant vibration that starts when I
crank it up and goes all the way through the power band.
It does not matter if I'm doing 8 or 80 MPH. It still vibrates.

I took it back to Thompson Ford and complained about the vibration.
They said they have had several trucks with the same issue.

SO Far I've had

2 drive shafts

A complete new rear axel

And a Dampener

Replaced.

None of this has helped at all!

After all of the work was completed the service manager test drove the
truck with Me and agreed that the vibration was still present. Again He
stated that there were several trucks that had the same problem.
He did tell Me that the truck was Lemon , but he could not put it in
writing because He did not want to loose his job!

I asked the dealership to swap out the truck for a new one.
Here is what they offered
$ 10,000.00 less than what I had paid for it four month earlier
The truck I had picked out went up $ 6,000.00 above the sticker price

They were not interested in doing a good faith exchange they were
interested in ripping Me off.

I contacted the ford regional manager and He assured Me ford's engineers
were well aware of the problem and the parts to fix it were on back
order. He assured Me he would contact Me personally when the parts were
ready.

Several months later and no word from Ford later, I took the truck to
Alexander Ford IN Murfreesboro, TN.
They kept it for over two weeks and could not find a fix. An
interesting note is the tires that came on the truck are Hankook's. The
service writer at Alexander told Me that New F150's do not come from the
factory with that brand.

Once again, The service manager told Me that the truck was a lemon. And
again was told that they would not put it in writing due to the possible
job loss.

I have Emailed and called Ford in Dearborn with no luck. They quit
returning My phone calls and Emails.

Here I am with a truck that is 13 months old, has been in the shop for
32 days, with a vibration that is getting worse with time.

I have hired an attorney and talked to My state Senator who wrote the
Lemmon law in Tennessee.
I should know something with in the next two weeks.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
