Ford Escape

My complaint about the Ford Escape is the Windshield.  When I purchased my 2001 Escape 
(used) it had a crack on the bottom spreading from one wiper to the other.  Recently I began 
monitoring other Escapes in my town.  I have counted 15 (so far) that have very similar cracks.  
I only started this in the last month.  I write down the license plate to keep for the future if 
something comes of it.  

I am convinced that the cracks are stress fractures.  I am sure that most Escape owners 
believe they got a rock chip that cracked their windshield.

I emailed Ford but got no response.  It has been some time.  I think Ford owes all Escape 
owners there deductible for replacing a windshield with a defect.  Also replace all cracked 
windshields as a warrant recall item.

Got any info on where to start.  Can you post this question out to the web for others to r
espond.
