Our story is simple:
Bought Focus, Drove Focus, Maintained Focus (at overpriced Dealership who
even tried to charge us once for work they didn't do!!!)
 
At 50,000 miles - 
1) Windshield wiper moter had to be replaced (even though I live in the
driest climate in Canada - Semi Desert 12" of rain per year!)
2) Turn Signal Self-cancel broke and had to be replaced (they said the
spring broke... freak accident, not covered under warranty)
3) Like so many other Victims er customers, the front brakes are toast.
Rotors and all. Gee, I drive 20 miles every day to and from 
work... on the HIGHWAY! I barely have to use the freakin' brakes!
So my "88,000km Service" cost me a little more than the $46.00 it should
have... like $1,200.00 more.
Little did we know that the name of the car meant Ford was going to "Foc
us!"
 
I wrote to Ford, told them how many Fords my wife and I have owned (3
Mustangs, 1 Aerostar, 2 Econoline Vans, and this little
piece of Crap. Gee, what a surprise... NO RESPONSE. And the dealership?
They're making me feel like I should feel happy
it lasted this long. 
 
My prediction... Ford will be DONE within the next 6 years... Well, one can
hope anyway.
 
Nissan, Toyota - here we come.
