A while back I told a friend I was going to start an Anti-Hate page. He argued that this wasn't a viable topic for my web site since my intention of possibly inspiring anti-hatred legislation wasn't feasible given our system of government and our constitution. Well, he may be right, but I still don't think it's a complete waste of time. And to that end, I now give you...
THE ANTI-HATE PAGE

Mayor Willie Brown of San Francisco. Quick to disparage a white man for doing his job poorly, and even quicker to defend a black man who was fired from his job for assaulting his boss.
CSmith. This guy is truly incredible. The very real possibility that my parents may happen across this page prevents me from using the language necessary to describe this man's (?) mental state, dismal intelligence, and probably heritage. His archaic and highly inflammatory remarks made me far too angry to argue with him, so I'll let you folks do it. His email address is listed throughout this document, so feel free to write him and let him know what you think, ok? Personally, I don't have the time to waste that it would take to wade through the muck of his evil mind in order to help him see the light and recognize the darkness within himself.
Color Lines. When I first started my web site, I got into a bit of tiff with a gentleman over the use of color to label things in a discriminatory fashion. While I only got one response back, I still feel strongly about this topic and I invite any suggestions on alternatives to color labels.
Pat Buchanan. This is a man who has not-so-skillfully hidden his racism, anti-Semitism, and homophobia from the public. He is the White Supremacist's politician of choice, closely followed by David Duke. He cleaned up, covered up, and whitewashed his act enough to become a presidential candidate, and that's a truly scarey thing... I'd love to take credit for this collection of closet skeletons, but this actually links to http://www.realchange.org/buchanan.htm.
Farrakhan. A racist in religious clothing.
Russell Simmon's Def Comedy Jam. Why limit myself to individuals? The comedy show, "Russell Simmon's Def Comedy Jam", is probably the worst racist program on mainstream cable television today. Every other comedian is poking fun at whites in a way that I find patently offensive. If a white comedian took that stage and said similar things about blacks, he'd never get out of the theatre alive. Now why do you suppose that is? Could it be because racism on the part of African Americans against Anglo Americans is popularly acceptable at this time in our country's history? And does it's semi-acceptance necessarily make it "ok"? I think not.
Ebonics. A letter I sent to the San Jose Merc, and then to a rave mailing list I subscribe to.
Bryan Evans. This person wrote to tell me how blacks get all the breaks and whites are so put upon. Then he warned me of the upcoming race war that will divide the United States in a new civil war. I've included my reply to Bryan.
