I hate my FORD FOCUS

After reading the stories of other people who were duped by Ford, I have
realized that I am not crazy and that Ford really is the problem. I bough my
2005 Ford Focus in October 2005, so I have had the car just 5 months but
started noticing problems 2 weeks after I bought the car, I noticed loud
grinding/scraping noises coming from the rear end of the car, most
noticeable when I reversed and when the car was cold. I brought the car back
to the dealership and they found that the inside front brake pads were
wearing down at a very fast rate, faster than the outside brake pads, they
also found a problem with the drive shaft. The dealership said they fixed
the problem and the car was returned to me quickly after I brought it in.
The same day it was returned I still noticed the same noises that I had
heard before, nothing had changed. I also began to notice soon after I
purchased the car that all of my CDs were skipping, at first I thought it
was my CDs, so I didn’t bother bringing it in, but as time went on and I
played more and more CDs I noticed that they all skipped. I came to the
conclusion that it was the CD player. I was also having difficulty getting
my key stuck in the ignition, and a number of times I was unable to turn the
key, start the car, or remove the key from the ignition. They proceeded to
fix the CD player and replace the ignition and interlock, as I learned that
the original parts were recalled.

Over the course of the next few months the noises from the rear of the car,
as well as the break noises became increasingly worse/louder. I also noticed
a very loud clanking noise when breaking that was not previously there. I
brought the car into Ford and after inspection they discovered a rear
suspension problem. The 'fixed' the suspension but my problems were not over
yet.

Noises persisted, Ford soon realized that the brake pad material may have
been inconsistent with the rotors and the metallic material may be causing
the noises. They replaced the front pads and returned the car the next day.
They noticed a decrease in the noises but still heard slight noise. I too
noticed the decreased noise but it is still present. The technicians
informed me that it might just be a Ford problem, because they notice a lot
of Fords have noisy brakes.

Just today I brought my car in again for noises. Ford once again has
informed me that they fixed the problem, that the noises were due to an
un-even weight problem in the rear of the car, they added some barrings or
whatever and claim it is as good as new. Yeah right!

It is clear to me that the dealership sold the Focus to me in unsafe and
un-working conditions. I have had to service the focus over a period of 10
different times, to different Ford dealerships as well as to the original
dealership itself a number of different times. It is no longer a safety
issue however the problems are still not fully resolved and I am worried
what will go wrong next with the car; it is clear to me that the Focus is
prone to problems, and bear in mind that this is a 2005 Ford, its pretty
much new. To sum up, I hate Ford! I really don't know what to do anymore.
