Subject:  Problem with Intake Manifold

Hello, I have a 1997 Ford Mustang. I don't drive it much and
have less than 36000 Miles on it. The plastic Intake Manifold
cracked on me and cost me $850.00 to have it replaced. I
Found out that Ford extended the Warrantee on this part to 7
years because they knew it was defective. I missed this warrantee
period by 3 months and now they won't pay any part of the
replacement costs.
