2005 F150 Steering Shakes

Hello,
Well I see there are many thousands of us in the same boat. My new
5/2005 F-150 Super Cab shaked violently between 60 to 70 MPH. I have had
4 service visits. They have replaced the tires three times, the rims,
the rotors, installed the damper kit, screwed with the column (made it
rattle and ball bearings fell out), and have still not got rid of it.
The dealer wanted to swap out the truck but wanted me to pay an
addistional $1000 to do so. I test drove one of their direct
replacements and it jerked and the steering wheel oscilated violently
from 40 MPH up to 70 MPH. I drove a second one and it jerked and the
steering wheel oscilated from 60 to 70 MPH. This model is making
lemonade all over America. I have filed for the Lemon Law thru Florida.
The dealers and Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI not only know of the
problem but don't give a crap. The dealers service personnel use lines
like "Well it is a new 2005 front end design and as you know with new
designs comes new problems". Folks it is time to Lemon Law all these
F150 Super Cabs or we can all get together and start a class action suit
against Ford. Everyone I have talked to on the net has lost thier butt
and money on these vehicles.
