I'm another 1990 Ford Ranger owner whos paint is peeling from the hood and roof of my truck. I saw another Ranger JUST like mine today IE: paint peeling from the same areas. I don't know if the color has anything to do with it but both mine and the other were "sandlewood" or brown as I call it. I've been told there isn't anything wrong with the paint but that "it happens" in costal states. If salt is the problem then why isn't it peeling on the bottom where the seawater gets on it from launching my boat all the time?
