I have a 1995 Ford Explorer.  From day one the transmission was bad.  I took 
it to the shop many times.  According to the shop here in Mobile, AL, 
According to the manufacturer specs, the transmission was fine.  Well, the 
last time the shop gave me that spill, I had 35,995 miles.  At 37,000 the 
wonderful Ford was diagnosed as needs a new transmission by Ford.  Well, I 
got an attorney, it completely stopped on the road at 38,000, I won my fight. 
 They paid AAMCO for a lifetime unlimited warranty and the attorney fees.  I 
am on my 3rd rebuild and another problem was fixed last month.  AAMCO frowns 
when I show up.
