Subject:        96' Ford Explorer

Hi,

I was wondering if there are any other 96 Ford Explorer recalls other
than the stabilizer bar link.  Last week, I experienced a horrible
experience with my Explorer's throttle getting stuck and my breaks not
working while I was in commuter traffic on a very busy freeway. I thank
God for the medium between the North and South bound lanes, otherwise my
daughter and I would not be here today.  The Ford dealership (where my
car is at this moment) claims that my throttle is just fine.  We
mentioned the 97 - 98 throttle body recall and they claim that my
vehicle does not have the same parts.  How can I find out if anyone else
has experienced this problem with their 96 Explorer?
