Subject: 2002 Ranger and Schultz Ford sucks too!

In more ways than one.  Not only did my less than 6 month old 2002 ford
ranger have a 'fuel leak' from the fuel pump and some other part
screwing up, but the dealer also stole half a tank of gas to boot!  This
after the vehicle was towed by the city (it was written down on the
ticket as 'fuel leaking from vehicle' on the traffic ticket I got, and
'fire hazard' was on the impound receipt), and having a nightmarish
experience of having to call fords 'towing service' to get them to pick
the truck up (spent almost an hour trying to convince them that the
truck did NOT leak fuel when it was turned off),  the service department
also took a half tank of gas out of it.  I will never ever buy another
new ford product ever again.  The other details that happened were:
Schultz ford took over John Coxon & Son's dealership, so that voided the
'free $60 key' I was supposed to get as an agreement for buying the
truck, and the mechanic tried to lie and say that the missing gas had to
do with "driving it around the lot to see what was wrong with the
truck", and 'draining it to fix the fuel pump'...so don't re-fill it, in
other words?  I'm leaving out other awful dealings that I had with Kenny
Ross Ford in Pittsburgh and their terrible service department, because
that had to do with another ford truck I had.  They basically ripped me
off for 74 bucks and did no work to the truck.  So, my advice is, "Steer
clear of Ford", buy foreign cars if you are fortunate to have the money
to.
