I bought this car used 3 years ago. My automatic transmission crapped out at 65,000 miles. The fellow at the local transmission place claimed he fixed 5 to 10 Taurus' each week. There must be a known problem here. Well, I'm going to start beating my head against the wall by going after Ford.
