focus brakes

Well, I took my new 2004 Ford Focus into the dealer yesterday after 3 friends
(all in the car service business for over 100 years total) told me that my
brake was really bad and defective. It has huge ridges, brake dust all over the
rim so that you cant even see anything but black. The "nice" service man
looked at me and said "SO?".
I have 2300 miles on the car and it had 400 miles on it when I bought it. He
told me that I could replace the brake, AT MY COST, and that in another 2000
miles it would look the same as it does now, "BECAUSE THAT IS HOW IT IS
supposed TO LOOK." If that is true, then my other 3 are defective because they sure
don't look like that one. You can cut your hand if you run it over this thing!
I read that others are being told that it is caused my "moisture," I got that
one too. Must be a bulletin they sent to all the dealers.
I plan on filing a complaint to everyone who will take one. It would have
been less work for them to just fix my car!
Thanks for letting me vent!
Nicki
