ford sucks

It's a long story, First as to the complaint dated 7/10/04 MS Morgan,
you are not the only one that has happened to. It just happened to me. I
was completely stop at a red light with my foot on the brake, the truck
revved up as if i had my foot on the gas peddle. It felt as if someone
had hit me from behind because the truck rear seamed to raise up. If i
did not had my foot on the brake i would have been in the crossing
traffic. Thank God no one was hurt.

I own the new redesigned ford F-150 XLT Super cab. They are having lots
of problems. My truck almost has all of them. First i have shaking in my
steering wheel at speeds between 65-70. i have a vibration between 50-60
. I have a noise rumble sound from front to back hard to pinpoint sounds
like a shuddering or running over rumble strips on taking off turning
left or right. I have warped brake rotors. I have a knocking noise when
hitting small bumps in the road. My tires are wearing unevenly, cupping
and rounding edges. I have been to the dealer 4 times and have another
appointment for more band aid fix ups. The only problem corrected was
the knocking noise when hitting small bumps. That was sway bar links on
both sides. The noise from front to back rumble strip sound. Ford has a
Bulletin out which says to drop the drive shaft re grease the yoke with
a special # grease and re install. That did not work and it makes the
noise all day not just in the morning. I took it back for them to see it
again. Only thing they can do is re grease it. If that does not work,
then they will put shims in the rear. As for the shaking wheel i am told
that they will re balance my front tires again, that will be twice from
a private garage and twice from the dealer all in 15,000 miles. They
will look to see if i have any more front end parts bad. The bad part is
that i brought the truck in just over 12,000 miles and had to pay for
the alignment and tire balance. After the new alignment my truck tires
chirp going around normal turns. Ford tells me that at least my seat
does not shake that is some complaints. what they do to correct this as
per a ford bulletin, place a 80 lb weight under the bed with a ball that
hangs from it to take the shaking away. Any way i I just traded the
ford in to get the New Nissan Titan. Picking it up on August 16, 04
Lost money on the deal but time is also money. Ford stands for \
"F'ed on raw deal"
