Subject: 2003 FORD RANGER ACCELERATED BY ITSELF

I leased a 2003 Ford Ranger 4.0liter V-6 with automatic transmission.
I have had no problems with the Ranger for the first 18 months.
I turned a corner at 10m.p.h. and accelerated and the truck roared out of control.
Within 300 yards the truck spun-out 180 degrees and hit a bridge.
The dealer claims there are no reported problems of this nature but
as I looked for reports of this problem of uncontrolled acceleration on the web
I have found several. I am waiting for a Ford response to this problem.
