Dear Sir;
I am the sad owner of a 2002 F-350, I got the truck brand new. I am a
person that likes to keep their vehicle clean and serviced. I have
experianced a number of problems with this truck, but the one that
really gets me is the truck has just turned 60.000 miles, it has the
V-10, at 62.335 miles it broke a valve spring and swollowed a valve. I
notifyed ford that day by email,(it was a saturday) it took a number of
days for them to get back to me, they told me to take it to the
dealership where I bought it, due to the number of times the truck was
at the dealership and hard feelings due to all the run around they gave
me,(Meredith Ford, Meredith N.H.) the owner of the dealership would not
allow my truck in the shop, I notifyed ford and they told me to take it
to someone else, so I paid to get it towed to another dealer, That
dealership wanted me to put up 2,000 dollars before they would even look
at it, I have been calling ford all along to go by the book to see if
they would help with good will, today I called ford to tell them about
the stupid fee's and to see if they had any input, They told me "By No
means will they consider helping me out with any of the cost, and if I
want to get the truck fixed then I would be responsible for the full
cost of repair." I asked to get that in writing and they told me that
they would not send me any letter. I think that it is pretty piss poor
that a company will not stand behind ther product. I have lost thousands
of dollars due to not having a relyable truck and then getting screwed
like this makes me hate ford even more. do you have any input on this.
Thank You, Ralph Carrasco
