Subject:  FORD EXCURSION

We own a 2002 Ford Excursion.  Two years and 44,000 miles later (4,000 past
warranty), the transfer case gasket failed and a leak began.  That repair was 
more than $300.  Two weeks later the transmission case cracked.  Early 
estimates are $2000-$3000 to repair.  Anyone else experienced such a problem?  Ford 
says that I am the only one and there are no recalls for my problem at the time. 
 I told my husband not to buy a Ford!
