I own a Ford nightmare (1990 Aerostar) towed and in the shop every month and when I went to buy a Ford Focuse it was a nightmare at World Perimeter Ford in Atlanta. You won't believe this one.

I had a 4 day old Focus. I seemed like it was stalling some. Day 4 the dealership phoned and said ford credit has approved my loan if I got a co-signer. I had already signed a contract and drove off the lot. They had $1000 of my money - they didn't want to give back. I am a single mother with no child support and ford has ruined my life. I am going back to an expensive college. After the phone call, on my way to college for a 4 hr. class, the vehicle stalled 4 times in traffic. I finally gave up at Ga. Perimeter college and had the security people help me. I called Ford Roadside assistance and they told me the Vin# was in someone else's name. It took 4 hrs. to get a tow. I tried to go back home. the vehicle shorts out. If you used the radio or headlights it made it worse. That morning I thought I didn't have breaks while dropping and picking up my children from school. When I told the dealership I was not going to get a co-signer and they bullied me and said bring the car back! I said see you in court. The next morning they were abusive on the phone slamming it in my face and laughing at the dealership and they told me to get an attorney. I tried to get the police to make a report on the ven#. they would not. In the middle of the night an unmarked tow truck woke me with stealing my car. The police would not arrest him. He would not talk to me or show me papers (a court order)..I asked before this for my money back on the lemon car in someone else's name. They would not respond until I phoned Jack Naasar's office and spoke with Melody. I was stranded and could not get film to take a picture of the plastic ven#. The police would not make a report. My other ford needed a new battery (it was slowly going weak) and other repair nightmares I did not want to spend another 50 cents on the car.

I got my money back and phone the Clark Howard show, WSB-TV 2 Atlanta. Greg Turchetta, consumer producer films me for two hours and then phones and saids. I spoke with the owner of Perimeter Ford and he saids he phoned you every day. Liars!!!!!!!!

I had already found a clause in the papers that if they couldn't get a loan on me, then they could get the car back in 10 days. They took it five days later, and totally misrepresented the deal. Greg was rude to me and seem to side with the dealer -even with 4 names of people and a customer service manager saying my car was used and titled in someone else's name. And it was a lemon!!!!!!

They stole the evidence. sure the car's fixed now , maybe. He said they were reselling the car on the internet. Also, the salesrep told me this was the only Ford Focuse available on the lot. He steered me toward this car. Since white is a high resale value I took it. My husband had owned a white ford explorer, whose tire went out the first 3 months he owned it. I made a zero on a college test , I may be able to drop and started crying in class because I made my only 65 in my life on the quiz/test the next Tuesday because I missed notes. Can you beleive this. I spent another $500 on the Ford Aerostar and the transmission, rebuilt 25000 miles ago is now acting up. I wanted to put the money in a new car. I want to work full time as a teacher assistant and go to college full time with 7.5 yr old twins. I also have to pay for childcare while I am school to be a teacher in my senior year.
