Mr. Grigsby I hope you can help me. My grandfather recently bought a 1997 Ford F-150. A couple of weeks ago the "service engine soon" light had come on and he did take it in to the dealer to have it checked because of the fact that almost every other day he has to drive an hour away for dialysis. The dealer I guess pretty much shrugged him off and sent him on his way. A few days ago around the previous Thursday or Friday the dash board caught on fire. On Fire!! Well luckily he did get that put out. On Sunday the 14th,2001 we were to all meet at church he came in late, come to find out that he had tried to turn the truck on and the whole thing just went up in flames!! I believe that I saw something about fords catching fire on a 20/20 or some sort of show like that. Have you heard anything like this . I do apreciate your time and if it is more than a faulty dealer I do want the correct people to take responsibility for what could have happened.
